Hello there. I am one of the creators of Shadows of the Sword Coast, the Vamp Team Persistant World. SotSC is rather set up for clans. A group of pcs may form a guild on the world and be given their own stronghold with a portal and recall system, merchant, ect. They may then attempt to conquer lands, destroy other guilds, ect. SotSC is a roleplaying world, and one can accomplish these things just as much with politics as with force. From the name of your clan, I take it you are drow fans. There is one major Drow city in SotSC, and Drow guilds are always welcome. SotSC is currently in the top 10 ranked pw's in NWN on the Vault, and have had a full feature ran on our world from both Bioware and Planet Neverwinter. A screenshot from SotSC remains on the front page of Planet Neverwinter. With over 800 areas, and cities spanning from Icewind Dale as far south as Amn, there is alot of exploring to do. PCs are free to do what they wish on this world. They shape their own destiny, and with it, the world itself. Unlike most NWN servers, SotSC is true to DnD and Forgotten Realms by being hardcore in rules, and high magic. With over 200 custom spells unique to SotSC, we offer much more customization and creativity than other servers. Your guild is welcome to play on SotSC and form a War Guild if you wish.

To the person who remarked about being stuck in Athkatla, it is a rather intensive area. But there are many 56kers who play on SotSC just fine. Some are even all the way across the world. Perhaps you should upgrade your video card or look for newer drivers, as I doubt it is your connection slowing you down.

I actually thought it was something to do with my processor but anyway, yup Athkatla is still a good area. I still have yet to explore all the graveyard district mainly because I have a odd feeling i would die. Although there are many players that would be willing to help anyone playing SotSC such as the White Knights guild. They have helped me out on a number of occasions. There is een a crazy psycho that runs around Athkatla and kills players, although he does ressurrect you afterwards and even gives you gold.

Although at this moment in time I do not een have NWN installed, once I have got a new PC I will return to SotSC. (If I have time that is)

hay i have 56k and it usually runs at 40k and i play nwn quite successfully online lol ;D

ok i wanna play on vamps server sotsc BUT i dont have htou or the other one so who wants to be a pal and put em on cds and send em to me?? :D

Not me because that means you would be using the same serial key as me which means only one of us can be on the server at a time.
